Class Gift

The Class Gift is a Chicago GSB tradition that ushers graduates into the family of philanthropists whose generosity has built this great institution. Graduating students of all programs have demonstrated their confidence in the Chicago GSB by participating in the Class Gift. Each gift sends a powerful market signal of the value of the Chicago GSB degree.

If you need to make a payment towards a prior Class Gift commitment, visit Ways to Give.

Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Graduate Gift

The Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs are relative newcomers to the Class Gift initiative. In 2007, graduating students helped to both establish their legacy and show their commitment to maintaining participation-rate momentum.

The Class of 2007 Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Graduate Gift raised $30,875 with an average, quarterly participation rate of over 18%.

Executive MBA Class Gift

XP-77 was dedicated to Chicago GSB's commitment to becoming the best business school in the world on all dimensions.

In effort to support the Executive MBA Program and GSB's growing international visibility, the XP-77 Class Gift supported the EMBA Faculty Endowment and Global Visibility. The class achieved 89% participation, raising $36,936 in one time gifts.

Many thanks to the XP-77 Class Gift Committee: William deGroot, Chet Joshi, Jim Marion, Sarah McVey, Mike Sorrentino, Kamilah Williams-Kemp, and Carrie Zellmer.

Full Time MBA Class Gift

The Class of 2008 left an extraordinary legacy. Their marketing campaign that combined the tag line "I (heart) GSB," colorful illustrations of faculty members, and quips from the professors themselves generated record interest in the 2008 class gift.

The Class of 2008 achieved 94 percent participation, the highest rate in four years, raising $101,164 in one time gifts and 6 month pledges.

A special thank you to the 2008 Class Gift Committee lead by Co-Chairs Michael Adamic and Scott Armstrong. The Class of 2008 once again has left an impressive mark.
